Transition to Carroll County Government Paid Staffing
Officers and Members of LVFD, February 27
Thursday February 27th marked a significant moment for both the Lineboro Volunteer Fire Department and Carroll County. It is the final day that our department-employed personnel will be on duty. Since the mid 1990s Lineboro VFD has staffed paid personnel to assist in responding to emergencies and keeping our community safe. Brush Fire on Brodbecks Road
Operations, February 26
On Wednesday February 26th at 1pm, Station 7 was alerted for a brush fire in the 6600 block of Brodbecks Road. Captain 7-1 arrived to a large area of burning brush, woods & marsh that was rapidly spreading, prompting the request for additional resources. Vehicle Collision with Flyout on Falls Rd
Operations, November 22
On Wednesday November 20th at 1331 hours, Lineboro VFD units along with Paramedic 49 were alerted for a reported serious vehicle collision in the 4200 block of Falls Road. Engine 72, Utility 7-1, and ATV 7 responded. Units arrived to a single vehicle over a steep embankment into a field.
